"Blue or Pink: What Do You Think?" Gender Reveal Party
We've been super busy this week working on all kinds of fun craft projects for a few upcoming baby parties! But in the meantime until we can show you those adorable details, today we're throwing it back to our own gender reveal party with some fun party detail inspiration never before shared on the blog! Enjoy!
I love making cake pops! These are a perfect dessert option for parties because you can easily make them gluten free and they taste exactly the same! I have several friends/family with allergies, so it's nice to be able to include a sweet treat that they don't have to worry about avoiding that tastes just as good.
Even the popcorn got in on the pink or blue theme. I laid out wax paper on my kitchen table, covered it in popcorn, and then drizzled the same melted candy coating I used on the cake pops, Oreos and pretzels. It added a little something sweet to the salty popcorn and another pop of color on each side of the table!
We were legitimately in shock because our entire family had us convinced that we were having a girl!
Here's a tip if you're planning on a balloon release for your own gender reveal party: I made sure to ask at Party City if they would put one small bunch of balloons attached to a weight in the box, then put 5-6 loose balloons on top of it. That way once the loose balloons are released, you still have some balloons left to take a fun pic like the one below!
