Hey creative friends! Sorry we've been a little slow on the blog the past few weeks, this has literally been the busiest month for our new little company and we are so grateful (but a little behind on sharing)! Here's a look at one of the two fun parties we helped style last weekend - a 40th birthday fit for a dude!

When my friend Lori contacted me about throwing this celebration for her husband, we landed on a rustic and rugged type vibe for the look. We knew we wanted to make it classy and upscale, but also keep the style masculine. Drawing from the awesome exposed beams in the venue and the craft beer bar we created, we brought in touches of burlap and barn wood mixed with beer growlers and amber apothecary jars for the table decor. Instead of flowers we opted for greenery to keep the decor from feeling girly in any way. We made it personal with a custom logo design, and each centerpiece featured a photo of the birthday boy through the years. We also created a full "this is your life" photo display in the lobby so friends and family could take a trip back down memory lane as we celebrated 40 great years of life!

We had a lot of fun creating this custom Craft Beer Bar out on the patio so guests could enjoy the night air and their favorite beverage. It was a hit and so was the awesome custom made chalk board made by Highland & Monroe!

And y'all. This cake...I can't even. It was a masterpiece! The birthday boy is a UT alumni so we paid a little homage to his college days with this custom made cake from Baker's Man Inc., and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Not only did he decorate the outside with UT's signature orange and white checker pattern, but the inside of the cake was checkered as well. (sorry I didn't snap a pic of that fast enough, the cake was flying off the table faster than I could grab my camera!) We created a custom cake topper to match.

After a fun night of dinner and dancing, we sent everyone off with one of the birthday boy's favorite treats, chocolate chip cookies - complete with custom birthday logo stickers.
