Y'all. I can't even with all the cuteness of this party. It was SO much fun to put together...and the birthday girl was even cuter! From a picturesque back yard setting complete with vintage furniture and lawn games to a dessert table with every sweet treat you could imagine, this party was simply perfection. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate a big milestone for this sweet little wild one!
We started off by welcoming the guests with an adorable collage of the birthday girl's twelve month pictures and a Time Capsule for each guest to write a note to her for her 18th birthday. Then later on we converted this table to the favor station filled with yummy cookies as the guests left!
Then it was down the hill into the most perfect yard for food, lawn games and festivities!
I loved bringing in this vintage style furniture and our fireplace mantle rental piece for a custom lounge seating area. Not only did it look gorgeous, but it gave a party that was completely outdoors that feeling of still sitting around your living room! (plus these chairs were perfect for the birthday girl's photo shoot!)
And of course you can't have a boho birthday without a teepee! I found this adorable one on Amazon (you can get it HERE) and we dressed it up with a fresh eucalyptus garland. It made the perfect backdrop for the cake smash!
And then of course there was the food. Not only was there amazing food (and adult beverages, because toddlers. Parents, amiright? ð) but there was also a dessert table to die for, complete with all your favorite confections...cake, donuts and macarons, oh my!
This dessert table was SO fun to style. From the custom made birch wood support beam at the top of the macrame backdrop to the Wild One cake topper and delicate lace crocheted doilies, I had the best time pulling this all together. Plus, I got to work with some of my favorite dessert vendors in the city to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth!
And now we get to my favorite part of a 1st birthday...the smash cake! My client saw two different high chair swags that she liked - one was floral and one was a bunting with the word "one" on it, so I combined both concepts and custom made this boho high chair swag.
Oh my word, I just wanted to eat her up! And to wrap up a fun afternoon, we sent the guests off with some adorable custom made boho cookie favors that were to die for - they even had edible gold foil! They almost looked too good to eat...almost. (let's be real, I never turn down a cookie)
Happy birthday sweet girl!
