Ahoy mates! Today we're excited to share with you this adorable nautical themed first birthday we designed a couple of weeks ago! Clearly we've been on a roll around here this month with beachy and nautical themes (check out our upscale seaside party in a box HERE), so needless to say I am dying to dip my toes in the sand now....who's with me?

In the meantime, until we can really get to the beach, at least we can enjoy a little sand and sea here with this cute birthday party, and the most adorable one year old ever!

This sailboat table was really fun to make, and it became a great statement piece to display the birthday boy's 12 month photos. Here's a little fun trivia for you: the table I used was the table my grandparents first had in their kitchen when they got married over 70 years ago! Needless to say it's a very special table.

I mean, how cute is he?! Those blue eyes match his cake perfectly! Happy birthday little matey!
