― Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You'll Go!
This week I had the pleasure of helping one of my dearest friends bring to life her vision for this adorable Oh The Places You'll Go themed Dr. Seuss first birthday party for sweet baby Dax! (don't you just love his name?!) With all the fun colors and Seussian rhymes, this was easily one of my favorite parties to decorate...I love all the whimsical fun!
Today we're sharing all of the bright and dreamy details, AND we're giving you a FREE printable for you to make your own easy Dr. Seuss thank you party favors!
DECORATING TIP:
For an inexpensive and easy way to add whimsy to this decor, we covered the top of the tables with tiffany blue wrapping paper for the "sky" and we used a $5 bag of cotton batting to spread around the hot air balloons and food jars to look like everything was floating in the clouds.
Smash cake success!
And as promised, click the link below for your FREE Dr. Seuss thank you party favor printables! Scroll down for instructions on how we made them:
These favors were super easy to make. Here's everything you will need:
Wilton Pastel Lollipop Favor Kit
1.5 inch paper punch
Matte white sticker paper sheets (8.5x11)
The lollipop favor kit comes with small pages of stickers you can design on their word template and print, but in my experience feeding short pieces of paper like that through my printer and getting them to line up correctly is time consuming and nearly impossible. So instead, simply print your free printables on a full sheet of the matte white sticker paper, use the paper punch to line them up and cut them out in circles, peel the backing off, stick and done. Printing, cutting and labeling these favors took me less than 30 minutes!
